Note :
- Depending on the hilly terrain and local rules, vehicles may change at particular places especially in Gangtok and Pelling.
- Only Jeeps, Sumos, Maruti Gypsies and Commander Vehicles are allowed in the road to Nathu La Pass.
Cost does not include
- Air Fare/Train Fare
- Lunch, entry ticket if any, telephone expenses, laundry expenses, or anything which is not mentioned above.
- Any extra charges incurred for transportation due to any natural or political disturbances like landslides, strikes, road blocks etc.
- Extra charges incurred for trip to Nathu La pass including transportation and permit charges.
Itinerary
Day 01: New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra –Kalimpong
On arrival in New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, our representative would meet you and transfer you to Kalimpong 85 Kms/3 hrs. Kalimpong is well known for its many educational institutions Kalimpong has become an important tourist destination owing to its temperate climate and proximity to popular tourist locations in the region. Kalimpong is famous for its flower market, especially the wide array of orchids. Flower nurseries involved in exporting Himalayan grown flower bulbs, tubers and rhizomes contribute to the economy of Kalimpong. It also houses several Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist scriptures. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Relax and fresh up. Later on in the day, we take you to Dello hill, Science Centre, Hanuman statue and Durga mandir. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 02: Kalimpong
After early breakfast, we take you for a full day excursion to some of the beautiful spots in North Bengal, we take you to Lava and Rishap which are famous for its natural beauty and it offers magnificent view of the Himalayan range on a clear day. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 03: Kalimpong-Gangtok
After breakfast, we transfer you to Gangtok (85 Km/3hrs) - the bustling, friendly hill station of Sikkim. On arrival at Gangtok, check in to the hotel. Relax and fresh up. Later get outside to see Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakari Falls, Tashi View Point etc. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok
Early in the morning, we take you to an excursion trip to Tsongo Lake or Changu Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, Baba Harbhajan Temple- a temple made and revered by soldiers to owner a famous Indian Army officer named Captain Baba Harbhajan Singh and Nathu La Pass (a mountain pass in the Himalayas which connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level, and forms a part of the ancient Silk Road). Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel.
Note: For visiting the above places you are required to get a special permit from the Police through the Tourism Department.
Nathu La Pass : Visit to Nathu La Pass depends on permits and road conditions. For visiting Nathu La Pass, a special permission is required from Indian Army. Please note that the pass is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays every week and in the winter.
Day 05: Gangtok- Pelling
After breakfast, we transfer you to Pelling (130 kms/4 hours). Pelling gives a spectacular views of the Mount Kanchandzonga, the Guardian Deity of Sikkim and the world’s third highest mountain along with other sister mountains bowing before the Godly figure in reverence. Pelling is an ideal getaway for tourists as its vicinity has numerous waterfalls, soft trek routes, villages and soothing atmosphere for all discerning. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Pelling.
Day 06: Pelling
After breakfast, we take you to Pemayangtse monastery, Khechepalri Lake and Sangay waterfall. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Pelling.
Day 07: Pelling-Darjeeling
After breakfast we transfer you to Darjeeling (120 Kms/4 hrs). On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is meant for relaxation or you can go for a joy train ride in Toy Train (optional). In the evening, you can visit the local market for buying some thing special of the place. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 08:Darjeeling
Very early in the morning (at around 0300 hrs), we take you to Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of sunrise over Kanchandzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). On the way back you can see Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop. Later in the day after breakfast, we take you to some of the famous spots in Darjeeling such as HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, and Dhirdham temple, Ropeway, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 09: Transfer to New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra
After breakfast, we transfer you to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport (100 kms/4 hours) for your return/onward journey.
